- Megan Mazarick (USA)

Is an American choreographer, teacher, and dancer.  She started training at age seven, often taking classes with her mother who is also a dancer.   She received both her BFA and MFA in dance, concentrating on choreography and performance work.  As a performer she loves dancing in unusual and site-specific work.  Megan has performed on the hood of a moving car, swinging from a rope on the side of rock cliff, and rolling through the dirt of a crumbling building.  As a choreographer, she makes work that is humorous, serious, theatrical, and personal, often including a stop motion physicality that comes from her love of hip-hop. Her choreography has been presented extensively in the USA and internationally. She teaches improvisation and contemporary dance at University of the Arts when she is home in the USA
